Sales Development Representative

We are seeking a Sales Development Representative who will be the first point of contact with prospective clients. Their primary objective will be to create opportunities for our sales team to close. A successful candidate will be highly motivated, ambitious, and eager to exceed the goals set forth by their managers. They will be a brand ambassador for Crisp, and be responsible for setting a positive first impression with future clients.

As an SDR, You Will:

  • Reach out to strategic target companies to generate interest in our performance marketing products.
  • High volume outbound prospecting (80-120 activities/day) to qualify leads through calls, emails, social media and chat.
  • Engage and interact with prospective customers and decision makers, and serve as an ambassador for Crisp.
  • Work closely with our sales team and executive management to collectively achieve sales quotas and goals
  • Understand Crisp’s value proposition, and go out to market to enthusiastically represent who we are and what we offer.
  • Respond effectively to inbound inquiries and aggressively prospect on an outbound basis.
  • Develop new relationships by way of phone, email, and social media in order to establish meetings with senior level decision makers in companies that could benefit from what we have to offer.
  • Assess the needs of prospective clients by prequalifying them to determine before moving client to the next phase of the sales cycle.
  • Work in tandem with Sales to research potential targets and identify key players and penetrate those targets by using creative strategies and tactics.
  • Apply your organizational skills by using our sales database and marketing tools to manage your pipeline and maintain accurate information about prospects and their companies
  • Work closely with Marketing to document and analyze the performance of various marketing channels and programs.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals
  • Natural curiosity and passion for your job
  • The technical aptitude to master our sales tools
  • The ability to deal with and thrive on objections and rejection on a daily basis
  • Prior Experience in B2B sales is a plus!

About the position
Come join a creative team of digital marketing professionals! We’re looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Strategist to develop solution-based gameplans for our digital marketing campaigns based on consumer insight and data. This individual will work with our team of experts in marketing, design, content, and analysis to develop and evolve ideas that will bring our brand management and digital marketing efforts to the next level.

This work will be done under our several different verticals, most of which specialize in healthcare, insurance, and home improvement. It’s important that our Digital Marketing Strategist understands digital marketing and its effect on a brand campaign, how to use and understand Google Analytics to identify trends and ways to optimize our marketing efforts, how to utilize SEO optimization and create strategies for keywords, meta tags, URL addresses, etc, and how to strategize successful paid ad and email marketing efforts.

This individual will also be deploying and optimizing paid media campaigns across different social platforms, Google AdWords, and Bing Ads. Knowledge and experience with Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Facebook Advertising, and Facebook Business Management is a must, as well as an understanding of affiliate marketing networks and how they work.

The CRM Digital Marketing Manager will be communicating mostly with upper management, and our Crisp teams such as Content, Design, and Development. This position will work closely with our Content team to develop all content for our brand sites, and our Web Design team to oversee and optimize our UI/UX of our brand sites.

 

Skills & Knowledge Needed
Technical skills needed for this position include experience with basic digital marketing, advanced understanding of Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Bing Ads, and all social media platforms, how to identify trends and use them to make a solid plan-of-action for digital marketing efforts, experience working with email marketing campaigns, and advanced knowledge of SEO optimization strategies. We require 5 or more years of work experience in digital marketing and brand management, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree.

Overall, this individual should have a highly analytical mind that enjoys solving puzzles, working with numbers and data, problem solving, and planning. Experience in the marketing field a must.

It’s important that our Digital Marketing Analyst understands digital marketing and its effect on a brand campaign, how to analyze and asses digital marketing campaigns and translate quantitative and qualitative data into recommendations and plans for future campaigns, how to review Google Analytics (and other third party tracking software), and how to create insightful, meaningful, and accurate reports. Knowledge of marketing and brand management will be necessary for this position.

The Digital Marketing Analyst will be communicating mostly with upper management, our Digital Marketing Strategist, and our Crisp teams such as Content, Design, and Development.

 

Skills & Knowledge Needed
Technical skills needed for this position include experience with Google Analytics, bid management and web analytics tools, social ad platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram, managing paid search campaigns in Google AdWords and Bing/Yahoo, project management, communication and collaboration, creating and organizing data with Microsoft Excel and other reporting platforms, and the ability to multi-task while staying well-organized and meeting deadlines. We require 3 or more years of work experience in digital marketing as an analyst, experience working with Google AdWords, Facebook, Bing Ads, Outbrain, and Taboola, and a BS degree in Business, Marketing, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related.

Overall, if you have a great mind for numbers, data, puzzles, organization, and problem solving and have digital marketing experience and knowledge – this may be the position for you.
